The Research Service is committed to promoting the conduct of research in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in a manner that protects human subjects and their data, animal subjects, and VA personnel involved in research. The Research Service maintains open communications with researchers and staff under its oversight and will promptly respond to questions, concerns, and suggestions. The Research Service coordinates submissions of all VA research proposals, and is responsible for the administration of all ongoing research programs.
